A picture tells a thousand words, and the set of posters developed for Languages Work Spanish use iconic imagery to demonstrate the value of language skills relative to Spain and Latin America.
The key messages serve to reinforce the worth of Spanish skills to
the learner:
- 94% of the world doesn’t speak English as their first language
- Even a little Spanish can make a lot of difference
- Learning Spanish can get you a more interesting job

The Languages Work Spanish powerpoint presentation has been designed to help teachers, outside speakers and
others such as 'undergraduate ambassadors' put over the messages of Languages Work Spanish. Please read the notes pages, which give further guidance on presention for different audiences. Presenters should feel free to choose the slides which most suit their audience and in particular we advise you to 'localise' the presentation by including examples of companies and people which are close to home and which audiences can easily identify with.
